We have definitely had our first sign of spring - a week of rain! The KY river is still over the roads in places, and half the trailer parks in the county are flooded. They always build them in flood plains! The "famous" Hall's on the River (Queen Elizabeth has eaten there!) is now Hall's IN the River. Wednesday at work I bet we had 50 people call and ask us to pump their basement. We don't do that anymore, we don't have enough people to tie up a truck pumping basements, plus not many people want us driving a 15 ton truck into their swamped lawn. They don't want to pay to tow our engine out, either. I guess a wet basement is better than a yard with 4 ruts 2 feet deep! You all keep your feet dry now! Fireman
