The "Power Lift" that was original on F12's and F14's is dead simple to work on. Gear pump drives off transmission mainshaft, cast manifold from pump to lift, one manual valve (doesn't even have any O-rings) and the lift cylinder itself bolts together. Take it apart, clean it up good, put it back together with new gaskets (which you'll have to make yourself) and a set of seals on the shafts, and viola!
