Not much to going back to 6 volt...no more than going 'ahead' to 12. Depending on how far you want to go, you would need a new harness. Then you'll have to find a generator (I have one from my '62 after converting), a voltage regulator, amp meter and various light bulbs...and maybe even the original generator bracket if it had been removed for the alternator (again, I have one of these as well). Doing the actual work is just a matter of following the diagrams (I have these available as well from original parts manuals). Have fun...hope it starts in the winter!
