Hugh - Well...I am 56 and dont feel it is old really, just young at heart I guess. We have some Super C's 350's and Super M, A, Hydro 70, 856. We kept them as they were good tractors and tho we rent the land, I think the world of these tractors as they have done, and still can do, lots of work, were dependable and certainly less cost to own and operate. These Farmalls just seem to be something we can "latch" onto that makes sense today...that made sense years ago when farming. I guess I look at the high cost of all the things around us, and feel "these are the only things around truly worth the money" Make sense ? I dont condemn all kids not being of worth, but it appears they do not have the patience Dad taught me, to have to "wait" for anything worthwhile, or until you can afford something you like. I just feel no one wants to take the time to spend on the farm, work on it with care, taking time for a good job. It is all so rush - rush now. Progress ? Maybe.....but not always all good either.........

Elliott said while this
