Vic if you need to drain the trans the drain plug is a pipe plug style located under the power take off. Your engine oil check is via the two taps on the side of the oil pan. Open the top tap to see if oil is to that level, add slowly until it begins to run out...the bottom tap is used likewise for the lowest level so your operating range is the level between high and low. Check that trans fluid.. if it is the colour of cardboard you have water in the trans and it is likely if it hasn't been changed in recent years. If the tractor has sat a long time the water might run out first but if you have been using the tractor the oil and water are mixed together giving that cardboard colour...drain and replace..good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
