Thanks for all your comments lads ... this is great forum! ... I am a newcomer to diesels - had a Allis D12 before this - which (god rest her soul) would have died yesterday trying to move 8 inches of wet snow from my laneway. Even the IH had "little sparks" flying from the muffler last night - but can she pull snow!! (I have a loader but it is not self-levelling and with the ground still somewhat soft I end up with another laneway somewhere out in my field in the spring!) - so I dropped the 7ft blade and away we go!
