Here's my reasons: I like to use my tractors... They are not parade or show material, but they are in respectable shape. Plus I'm not cutting it up, I can return it to original condition whenever I want. If you feel like sitting on a garden tractor for 4-8 hours cutting the grass with out even starting on the trimming work, fine. I'd rather sit on my H for half that time and use the garden tractor for the small/tight areas. I'm just trying to make it more usable in wet/soft ground mowing conditions. I'm leaning towards running duals and shaved lug bar ag tires on the rear, and putting light truck radials on the front. I've seen several sod operations running this setup. I'd like a smaller tractor or two, but the barns full already!
