The only surprise you will find after removing the hydraulic (belly) pump is the 'throw out' bearing carrier assembly. It is a pot-metal sleeve that is bolted with two cap screws and provides support for the 'throw out' bearing. This sleeve must be removed to allow the 'throw out' bearing to come out. Once that is done, you will also notice a coupling that connects the transmission input shaft to the splined shaft in the clutch itself. The coupling is easy enough to understand once you see it. Just remove the coupling and the splined shaft can then be removed from the pilot bearing in the flywheel. Next remove the pressure plate and the clutch disk will drop into your hands. I recommend using the splined shaft to align the clutch disk and pressure plate with the flywheel when reassembling the clutch. Reassemble the rest in reverse order and the job is done. There isn't exactly alot of room to do the job, but it's better than splitting the tractor in two. (I have done this)
