I thought about that, but also cant knock the system I used. My tractor is a working tractor and that hitch has been up and down a lot of times in the last ten years. I looked at it today and it is same as when I put the pin in there ten years ago. The one I put in was for the fast hitch so I never have the pin out. If it was one of the others I think I would do as you advise.
