These plows were made in the time frame when IH changed from blue to black on all tillage that was made in Canton, Il. works, this equipment was shipped in usually by railroad, was all knocked down as IH called it, You put the plow together with whatever dealer had, disc colters were painted blue, later production was painted black, same for bottoms, all wheels were IH cream, we just mixed with what we had as far as bottoms and colters, this was in the 60s when IH had the tillage equipment to die for, plows & discs outsold all the other brands by far in our area.
