Advice on First Tractor

Hi,
As you could tell by this question, I am not very familiar with farm tractors. I am about to look at my first Super A next Saturday with intentions to buy. My goal is to use it for lawn mowing chores with a 5 foot belly mower. However, I also want it to work and look good so I will also be farming out any repair work and eventually a paint job. Does anyone know of problems that are characteristic to Super A's, or with old tractors in general, that I should be on the lookout for? (Especially any show stoppers that I should walk away from if found). I would appreciate any advice anyone could offer. Thanks very much, Carl.
