That combine really looks big on those tires and frame JD. I missed out on this era and would like to see one work, if there are any left! There were no flat land machines in this area that I can think of until a few years ago. Wheel base just wasn't wide enough to get any kind of balance, and of course h.sides were all the dealers stocked. What was the logic behind smaller dia. tires on the outside? I'm thinking turning ease??
