The wfa from IH on early H & M was tie rods leading, then they came out with tie rods trailing style, It says in parts list in H/M it is not to be used on tractors with a certain model front mounted cultivators or a beet harvestor, the H size was used on H/SuperH/300/350, the M size was bigger in the mounting under the front bolster casting, steering arm, and rear stay rod, it was the same as used on Super M, 400/450, 460 560 706 806 1206, up through the 1256. Trailing style wfa are also made in after market by Schwartz-now A & I, Speeco, Norden/Russell-out of production.
