I agree with (kev@ia) most were good tractors,
but certian things could have been better.
The things that come to mind--- TAs most people didn't learn to use them right, Abuse!
560s to much hp for the lighter rear end, not
enough R&D!!
Hydraulics-- took too long before a closed system
was introduced.
Most things were corrected later, but the 560
debacule was the tutning point for IH, When they
lost the #1 position.
Man I do love these tractors!! Currently at my place-- 1-966 TA ,no cab 110hp,, 1 M with a super
kit,factory wide frount 42 screaming horses!!
