Big difference in the M and Super M. The Super M has 16 more cubic inches plus a lot better head design. There is night and day difference between the engines. The disc brakes are better and If it has the live hydraulics thats even better. When I was a kid my Dad & Uncle bought 2 Super M tractors in 1952. Neither one had live hydraulics but really didn't seem to be a handy cap. IH had a kit to enable the M or Super M to have two way hydraulics which worked very well. It was the lack of a live PTO that was the handy cap.
