Yep when the engine is off, the gov "thinks" it is going to die and opens up the carb all the way. It took some playing around before I got muine going the way it should, Of course I didn't have much help and didn't know about this forum back then.....I am bummed out today!I moved to this house last NOV and there was a nice old horse drawn Russell road grader in the niegbors yard a couple doors down. I was always told that money cant buy it by everone around here and it was in the family since the early 40s. It was bought new by the local county to take care of the roads around here. As I sit at the computer I can see it sitting over there and I would look at the grader and forget about the pile of trash sitting next to it.Well guess what!!! I guy hooked up a tractor today and dragged it off. I talked to him and he said he just bought it!! AHHHHHHHhhhh!!!!!!Just my luck!!! I even talked to the owners nephew 4 days ago about it!I ended up helping him move it down the road to his place. Nice guy and we visited all afternoon. At least the ol grader went to a good home, but I sure am going to miss the view!I suppose I will have to get my own grader to park in my yard now.

Today's Featured Article - What Oil Should I Use? - by Francis Robinson. I keep seein this question pop up over and over again in discussion groups all over the web. As with many things there are often several right answers and a few wrong ones. Some purist I'm sure will disagree to no end with what I will tell you but most of us out here in the real world don't really care do we ? Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You ...
