In January I paid $400 for a complete 42 H with an IH 1110 mid mount sickle mower on it and original IH wide front. Engine stuck, turned out to need an overhaul, and found broken gears in the transmission. I then paid $150 for its sister, 6 serial numbers away with stuck engine, narrow front, and good transmission. I'll even put pics up here for you to see.

One of them had the battery box, but no lid. Also had a PTO shield, neither of the manifolds are any good, and each one had a rusted through rear rim with a no good tire on it. I would say that an H with all the parts there and an engine that turns free would be worth $500 to $750 in my book. They are advertised in good running condition all the time for $1200.
