We used to do a lot of swap work, as well as custom work I got pretty good at mounting and removing drawbar, sickle mower (originally for F20, but mounts extended to clear wheels), and cultivater. I'm not sure, but I think the original name for the system was "Fast Tach". As you say it was sometimes interesting when you are young. I started when I was just barely big enough to pick up the swinging drawbar and push it against the axle mounts. Then I would brace it with my knee while I flipped the top eye bolts down. Tighten them up a little, and flip the bottom ones up and run them down far enough by hand they wouldn't fall back, then tighten all up. Undo the belly bolt, and put the pin through the drawbar and replace bolt and keeper. Hadn't thought about doing that in a long time. It took me longer to type it than it used to to do it.
