Up untill about 1946-47 M's usually came new with the 11 inch rims and 11-38 tires, after that M's came with 12 inch rims and 12-38 tires. Super M's came with 12 inch rims with 13-38 tires. 11's are 12.4, 12's are 13.6 and 13's are 14.9's now, they measure the actual tire width not the tread width now. Same with H's first 10-38's then 11-38's later on, 10 inch rims then 11's. Very first '39's had 36 inch tires with skinny base rims sorta like F-20's had.
