this is most interesting, a few yrs ago,we had to replace the TA in our 886 series B, was offered a choice between the Diode thingy & a standard thge diode was at a highr price but had a ??yr waranty, from memory the Case-IH dealer was really pushing it. at the time i told them as the old one had lasted for 7000hrs ,i would replace it with that, as if it went again after that long it wouldnt be my problem, have been most interested to see the different types of TA available from the different suppilers down here we havent really got any choice tend to be treated like a mushroom :-)
