I know what you mean about forgetting to turn on the main tank! I usualy do it with the small tank and run out forgetting to turn on the main. The choke seems to help pull the "juice back up hill" quicker. I remembered another difference also. The longer brake levers on the F-14. I though about putting those on my 12, but then thought they might get in the way of me getting to the PTO lever. They sure fell asleep when they designed that arraingment!
