To tell you the truth, I don't know a lot about the 806 (shamefully I should. I use to work at a IH dealership). However, you can't judge toughness by cu. in.. The 1950 Oliver only has a 4 cylinder 212cu.in. 4-53 Detroit. It's a two cycle that uses a blower. Yet this motor can outpull a regular diesel that has 100 more cu.in. I don't know if it will outpull an 806 or not ( I think it will, but I could be wrong). But don't count out the Detroit because of cu. in.! Glad to hear you teenagers are discussing tractors instead of drugs and fighting ect..Good Job! Scott
