Just my opinion here, but I think a good mag is far better than a distributor ignition. You wanna see spark problems, go over to the 8N board. First thing you see over there is whenever anything goes awry, replace points, plugs, condenser, wires, cap, etc...best example is what did the old aircraft use even when distributor ignition became common??? Magnetos!
