The only way to check for sure if the block is cracked is to take it out of the tractor, remove the sleeves and bearings, take it to a machine shop and have it hot tanked, magnafluxed and pressure checked.

I would say if it sat that long with no water in it the seals on the sleeves are probably bad and letting some water in.
