I inherited a 1994 model from my parents, 16 horsepower that was a piece of junk. I don't know the model number. The plastic hood wouldn't stay latched, the mower plugged easily, the belt would frequently come off the mower and after 3 years the transmission went bad. It was my only experience with one so the one I had may have been a fluke. My parents never had the money to buy the better stuff so it may have been on the cheap end of what Cub Cadet had to offer.
