The 88 inches mentioned by "nut" is the max tread center line measurement, not the outside width. With standard axles, the overall width will be the width of the tire more than the 88 inches or around 102 inches if you have 13.6 tires on it. With the wheels dished out, and the wheels set in as far as possible the width of my MD is 85 inches. If you are asking because you are looking the haul it, if the wheels are dished out, you have to have an over the wheels trailer to haul and M. Won't fit between the wheels of a trailer that has the bed between the wheels.
