Steven from your replies to a couple of posts I see you enjoy working on old tractors and have a genuine interest in keeping old tractors in running condition and out of the scrap yards. I think the $500 you are willing to invest will be well worth the cost after what I have read about your love of the old iron. The old 361's were tough old engines, maybe not too much is wrong. Go for it and enjoy yourself. I see many hours of tinkering in the shop with this tractor and have been there myself, I know what you are talking about. Good luck and keep us posted.
