I have used Cubs and Farmall A's to mow with for 20 years. I have 4 belly mounts and 4 pull behinds. The belly mounts are the only way to go. the choice is 42" if going to be a rough field full of weeds and brush, a 60" 3 bladed mower if it is going to be a manicured lawn. A neighbor used a 42" flail mower for both on his cub. I have left a 42" dunhauser mower under my cub permanently for the last two years. Woods is good but dunhauser has a free wheeling spindle that lets you shift without waiting for the mower to stop.
