the head gasket will take care of it or at least it has for the last 25yrs and several engines later do not worry about sleeve sticking up a couple of thous i do use hi-temp aluminum paint for gasket sealer in fact if the sleeves have been replaced you will find a slight movement in them in the bore head will keepthem tight
