Need some advice about starting problem with my Cub tractor. I have spark @ the plugs and gas @ carburetor, but plugs do not look wet from gas. Had magneto checked and new points installed. A tractor mechanic told me that the older flat heads may not show up wet from gas. I can feel the firing chamber creating a vacumn. Could not find any trouble with intake manifold. Any help would be appreciated.. My next step is to install new plugs That seems to be the only thing left to do Also checked timing of the magneto drive, and am pretty sure it is right. I have a shop manual to refer to.
