I think so Sod that block is quite heavy,most blocks will take a repair sleeve. A good fit of sleeve to the block is critical as with all dry sleeves, for good heat transfer. IH const.dealers honed blocks and pressed dry sleeves in and out, honed again them pressed again until the right force was required to put the sleeve in.If you don't get it right the piston skirt will sieze to the sleeve and make a mess though probably not ruin your block.
