I have had the same problem with both type clutches. I have a '28 10-20 with the multiple disk type clutch and a '29 Regular with the single disk clutch. The Regular would contine to travel app. 10 feet after the clutch was depressed. Made one have to think a little ahead of time especially when the hand brake was inoperable. It basically came down to the fact that the clutch disks on both tractors had been over greased and years of oil weeping from the rear mains and collecting on the disks causing them to stick. Removed and cleaned the disks with solvent and lightly sanded. Have not had any more problems since. You can lossen the worn drive/guide pins on the old multi disk clutch rotate them 90 or 180 degrees and get them off their wear points for a little less slack if you prefer.
