The 706 & 806 had better front axle but the 350 did not. Then enter the 66 series with absolute junk front ends. So many parts to wear. Always called my 1066 the road weaver. Bought a 7050 AC and have been sold on them ever since. I also worked at a CaseIH dealer and IH didn't start to get their act together until the 5088 series and even then they had lots of bugs in the tranny but did fix the problem.
