Old -Dutch,thanks for the reply,sounds like that would work.
I didn`t think the washer up tight against the wheel was a good idea,when the wheel works back and forth on the splines it loosens the bolt up.
I made a washer to go between the big washer and the end of the shaft.
At least the bolt stays tight that way.
I still think it was a poor way to make it,they should of had a tappered shaft so there was something to tighten against.
Once the splines get wore a little it just keeps worken back and forth until it wears the splines to thin then tears them right out.
Luckly i don`t go very far with it.
