1943 Farmall M Starter Switch Location

Currently the starter switch on my tractor is located in the opposite side of the steering post next the the AMP/light switch box. Is this the correct place to mount it? Also the light switch box has an inginition switch where I think the light switch should be. Can anyone tell me where this stuff should be located on the 43 M. Thanks.
