It was a Chinese copy. Since they are on the other side of the world, it got put backwards. Ken's explanation is correct. For whatever reason the printers reversed about ten photographs. I caught either nine or ten on the color proofs- I don't know if I missed that one, or if I caught that one and it just didn't get corrected. It will get corrected in the second printing if the book sells that many.
