That 66 series sure was a good series. I know of alot of 1066's and 966's and a couple 766's and an 666. I used to run a 1066 for two years for a fellow that had a county road mowing contract. The 1066 had a cab and air and a turbo, loved that tractor. He also had a 966 w/out a cab I used sometimes, that one didn't have a turbo, I don't htink any of the 966's did, ain't sure though. When I get the money here in the next couple of years, I am looking for a 9 or 1066, unless an 86 series comes along, I like their cabs better, but I like a 66 tractor better. 'Nough ramblin...

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
