SAm - Punch below to see what badly worn brushes and commutator look like. Notice the starter end plate (which carries the brush holders) was split in two. I was able to clean up, fit new brushes and piece back together this starter. It's been reliably starting my Super M for a couple of years now...

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
