I'm 54, have a small (40 acre)farm in East Tennessee and have had two tractors since we bought the farm two years ago. The first was a '41 M which I sold last August and now have a '49 H. The H is here in Alabama waiting for me to get the time to pressure wash and steam clean it and then paint it before I take it to the farm. I will retire the end of June and we will move to the farm full-time then. The H will be used for pasture maintenance and tending our farm garden. We originally bought the M because it was cheap horsepower, but now I would not have one of the newer tractors - the old ones are easy to work on, parts are readily available and all the expertise you could want is available right here.
