Seems like more effort than it's worth though.
2 Meters on an HT would be one thing, but picture working 180 meters cw/mobile with the key strapped to your leg and that big antenna hanging off the back of the tractor. Would the alternator keep the battery up enough to keep the linear operating at 1KW PEP?
