B414 Electrical System-Need Help

I am rebuilding a 1966 International B414 for my father. We are changing to an alternator for the charging system. I am not familiar with the negative ground system and I need any information available. A wiring diagram would be especially helpful. Is the starter the only part of the system affected? I intend to rewire the entire system and the alternator is a one-wire style with built in regulator. My main question is when wiring the system the battery ground connects to the silenoid and the positive to chassis? Do all the other components wire normally like a 12V car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
