Does anyone know if you can take the frame rails off to paint inside them, and leave the engine all connected to the rear end? I am asking for restoration puroses obviously :-). I am not going to pull the engine in this one, because it has seen a lot less than average use, I was just wondering if I can take the frame rails off without pulling the engine. I know would have to take the front pedestal off. That isn't a problem. Also, I was thinking on using PPG paint on this restoration. What all will I need for the paint- amount of paint to do the tractor, hardener, thinner, air compressor, paint gun, and primer???? Thanks guys. Any other info is appreciated. Thanks again!
