That is the symptom of TA on its way south. Our 1256 does that, start out ok and then when you get to a hill or pull something it stops. When the TA went out of our 1086 last time it would JUMP when you let the clutch out. And I mean JUMP hard! It was like the clutch wasn't engaging and then all of the sudden it was like popping the clutch out. Sounds like it's time for a TA. Steven

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
