I haven't had that problem with my F-20 but I did have a similiar problem with a car some years ago that may possibly shed some light on your situation. I would speculate that your engine stops in pretty much the place in terms of revolutions and that you may have a small water leak into a cylinder that is near the top of an upstroke. If so, it is going to be mighty tough to get it to turn over till you get over the hump and that cylinder is on the downstroke. Next time you run into the problem try unscrewing your spark plugs and see if you blow any water out and if it is any easier to turn. Even if it is not a water problem you will eliminate any possibility of it being related to compression and that certainly narrows the field.
