I bought a H last spring for $700 that needed 4 tires desperately, engine ran but was pretty sad. needed paint, and the sheetmetal was ok but not great. I ended up having to rebuild the engine. It gave up the ghost during the summer. I thought I might have spent too much for it, but now I'm happy with what I paid for it.
With some new front tires, used rear tires, the engine rebuilt, some sheetmetal work, cleaning and painting I have a pretty nice H now. one that I'm proud to take to the pulls and shows. It may not be the prettiest one around but it looks 1000 percent better than it did and will outpull most in it's class.
