International diesel ignition question...

Hello all, I am converting my positive ground 434 to negative ground, and adding a delco 10SI alternator. I am just going to rip out all the wiring and start over with new wires, as the old ones are shot. My qurestion is, is there anything special to do when converting to neg. ground with this tractor? What about the glow plugs? Any finally, how does this tractor ignite the fuel? All i'm seeing is a plug of some sort with a wire comming out of it (hot during "start" and "run") and it is placed near the injectors. Thanks for any reply to my many questions. Wendel
