I have a farmall 450 gas with what I think has a bad clutch. The clutch will not grab until the pedal is almost touching the frame, and when it does grab it is sudden, not smooth. Makes it hard to ease the clutch out when baling hay! Even under heavy plowing it doesn't slip, so is it still bad or worn? If I adjust the linkage on the pedal, the pedal will not come back and rest against the frame. Also, my TA works in both high and low, but when it is in high (forward position) and you are on a hill, when you push the clutch in the tractor will not roll. But when you pull the TA back into the low range the tractor will roll. Is this right? Any thoughts on what I should adjust or try? Thanks!
