I didn't find any color pics in the archives of the fast hitch mower, but I did find a couple of the axle mounted mower in 1950 and they do appear to be nearly all red. The bar was in hay, but I assume it was blue. There was also one of the M and mower either a 27 or maybe a 31 and it to was mostly red. I sent the archivest a request for a color photo of both the C-21-P and the C-24-P. I may hear back from them in a day or two. I think I have your email address and will send the pic to you if and when I get it. Maybe we will find out for sure what the correct color pattern should be.
