My new to me 1951 M is now running nicely. There was blockage in one of the "worm holes" in the top part of the carb. i blew it out with a air compresser, then i checked each hole with a straw to see if i could pass air thru thru each of them. well when i put the air compresser to it $hit went flying and hit me in my face so i was hoping that was my problume. Put it back on and she runs good with no choke! I always had to run it with half choke before. It just needs some fine tunning now. when i really accelerate fast it wants to starve just a little so i need to adjust the carb to its sweet spot. I set the main 3 turns from seat and idle 1 turn from seat. Plus im gonna replace the plugs with d-19's instead of d-15's. i know some of you guys dont like champion plugs, but i never had a bad plug from them and they always seem to last as long as I expected. i know some people sand blast the tips but at 1.88 a plug i will just replace them. thank you to all that helped me out. I knew it has to be a carb problume. the gas must of sat for a lone time leaving behind a white powder crap that looked like sement! i will probally take it back off and let it sit in carb cleaner for a few days and then give it a good cleaning with the air compresser. plus since the orginal screen is missing from the carb i will put on another inline filter to keep the carb nice and clean. It don;t take much to make them carbs act up.

He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
