When I took my H belly pump out last fall, I bought four lengths of threaded rod at the hardware, and four nuts and washers (got this idea from one of the IH Board members). I replaced each pump mounting bolts, one at a time with the threaded rod,nut and washer. Then lowered the pump by turning each nut a short distance at a time. Slow but it worked well, for someone like me who was working on it alone.
